ngl the sync function sold me on the foodi over the tower one. Tower has dual zones but the sync logic is clunkier from what i saw in reviews
the airflow getting split thing isnt really a concern because each zone has its own fan. The wattage is shared so the max temp drops slightly when using both zones at once.
oh interesting, so if i ran both at 210 would they actually hit 210? or would they cap lower? has anyone tested with a thermometer?

I did. 200 for wings, 210 for potatoes. Sync. Each basket hit 195 and 203 respectively. So they do undershoot a bit. Single basket 2C of temp deviation from settings. Foodi is within 2C of set temp while oven usually 15C away so not a big deal.
thats actually really useful to know, cheers. So it does undershoot a bit when both baskets are in use at the same time but not enough to worry about. Did the wings crisp up properly at that temp?
pat dry, baking powder dusting, single layer. Thats the holy trinity for air fryer wings

never used sync once with mine which ive had for 2 years. Use air fryer for potatoes for 15 mins then add in wings for the rest of the cook. If its a bigger meal just use oven. Its dual zone meaning you can cook two different things on two different days.
You're doing it wrong then, once you set the programs once it remembers the last settings. I hit air fry, sync, start. Three buttons.
do the wings need to be flipped half way through cooking? for mine they end up browner on top than bottom.
