Had this come up in a couple different forum for Samsung microwaves. It's either the latch hooks or the switches behind them. The latch hook spring tend to wear out with time. The other possibility is the door switch tell the microwave that the door is closed.
I'm guessing that the latch hook spring will fail first on Samsung microwave. I would imagine that those who encounters the issue will replace the door switch since the microwave will not start even if the door is indeed closed. What do those who have replaced a few of these Samsung microwaves thinks is the most common cause of this type of issue?
