Basmati in an Aroma cooker, anyone else just use the White Rice setting?

Zojirushi electric rice cookers are overkill for basmati rice and still not as good as just plain using the stovetop to cook your rice. Get a heavy bottom pot for your stove instead.

hard disagree, fuzzy logic models handle basmati just as fine as anything. No need to babysit the rice whilst cooking

Rinse rice 4-5 times to remove starch then soak for 20 mins. Drain and add rice and water in 1:1.5 in aroma on white rice setting. This will cook fluffy separate basmati every time.
