What does the purple light on a BlendJet actually mean?

Seeing as how people seems to be asking about the purple light on Blendjets, it's worth discussing. Not very obvious from the manual what the different lights mean.
There is three states for the purple light. Blinking purple means it's in lock mode and you have to long press the button to unlock it. Spinning purple means it's in low battery mode and you need to charge it. Flashing red and purple means it's a dead battery and you need to charge it.
The issue with this is that the blinking purple light for lock mode can look more similar to the spinning purple light for low battery mode so people may have to charge a blender that just needs to be unlocked, or press the button repeatedly on a blender with a dead battery. The red flashing light for the dead battery mode is easier to catch because red usually means something are wrong with the appliance.
Beyond these three modes, I don't know if there are any other modes for the purple light. The only other thing I would guess would be a blinking light for service mode but that would be an educated guess. These modes seem limited so there must be something to the three modes defined above. I'm guessing the machine will act in one of these modes in response to user action.

The fact that we has to decode the color codes on a $50 blender tells us everything about the moddern age. Put a screen on it or just use words. My toasters from 1994 had knobs and they worked.

wait so if its spinning purple AND blinking, which one wins? had mine doing something weird last week and i couldnt tell if it was locked or dying

The three main state for the blades. The fourth state is fast purple strobe if the blade is jammed in the motor. This shuts off the motor and requires you to pop open the base of the blender to clear the jammed blade before the motor will reset. I had to dump the blended contents, rinse the blade housing and eventually get it going again. I had added frozen strawberry chunk to a blender which is not kind to the small motor.

a fast strobe is a 4th state then? does it ever go solid purple or is it always some kind of motion

lock mode blink and low battery spin are very similar so thats the issue i think. Charged it for 2 hours before realizing its locked.

You charged a locked blender for two hours. That's the kind of failure in the user experience that should of gotten someone fired in product design.

There's no service mode on these. It's just a brushed motor with a lipo battery and all the electronic to power it and an RGB led. When the motor dies its just tossed. When I open them up the Battery Management System is usually the first thing to fail and the led stops doing anything coherent.
