What does the red triangle on a De'Longhi Magnifica actually mean?

Saw the red triangle warning light up in a few Magnifica coffee machine threads recently so figured I’d ask the question since the info is kinda scattered about where. There are two different state for this warning: solid on vs flashing. These seem to mean different things so I’d like to know if this is in agreement with people here.
Solid red triangle mean the inside of the machine is dirty, specifically the grounds buildup so a cleaning is necessary. Once cleaned, if it persists, then its a service call issue. Flashing means the infuser is not properly seat so it should just resolve once you properly reinstall it. So different issue trigger the same warning, hence the confusion.
Has anyone else encounter these same issues with there own Magnifica? Is it the same for all model numbers? Let me know what youve heard, please!

yeah you got the basics right. Solid = clean me, flashing = infuser. But to properly cleaning the machine you have to pull out the brew unit and rinse it with warm water. Also give the rest of the machine a quick wipe down.

mine flashed for several weeks. Tried reseating the infuser like an idiot. Found that the microswitch behind the brew unit was sticky due to old grease. Once fixed, triangle clear.
