For mine the light has been blinking white for a while now but never going to solid for temp. Checked the sensor and it's shot.

It's been blinking for 15+ minutes. It normally takes 3-5 minutes to heat to temp. So if it's blinking for much longer than that something is wrong.

Definitely a failure mode of the mug. It's likely that the sensor or heating element on the mug is broken as the liquid will be lukewarm and the mug will not heat to temp.
or you could just microwave your coffee for 20 seconds when it gets cold and save $130
