What does flashing red vs solid red mean on a Blendjet?

Quick question for anyone who's spent time with Blendjet portables. When I've been looking around at my Blendjet, the red light indicator has come up a few times. Does anyone knows if flashing red and solid red means the same thing?
From what little I've learned about the Blendjets, the red light indicate something about the charge of the device. But the documentation on the product isnt clear about the exact meaning of the red light. Does anyone know for sure what the red light mean in each of these situations?

flashing red while running = jar isnt seated right or motor are overloaded. Solid red on its own usually just means low battery. Blinking red on the charger = its charging, goes white/green when full.

wait does the flashing change speed at all? like does it blink fast vs slow?

Solid red = low battery, needs charge. Flashing red while idle = error, usually the lid sensor or an overload trip. Flashing red while plugged in = normal charging behavior. White/green solid = fully charged. That's the whole code.

is the lid sensor a magnetic reed switch or a hall sensor? been wanting to know how it detects the cup

mine just blinks red forever and nothing works. Tried charging it overnight, using a different charging cable, pressing and holding the button to reset it. Nothing works, battery is cooked imo

It's a magnet in the base of the cup and a hall sensor in the motor housing. If the magnet fall out or the sensor fails, the blender will flash red constantly while the cup is properly seated.

oh nice. So if I stuck a strong enough magnet to the base of the cup would it think the cup is on?

Yeah that works for diagnostics.
I've done it on the bench to test if the motor is actually dead vs just the sensor being flaky. Don't run it that way though obviously.

Fwiw I had one that flashed red when the USB port got loose. Wiggled the cable while plugged in and it would flicker between charging and not. Resoldered the port and it's been fine for a year.
