Panasonic microwave can be pretty easly reset. Models with a Reset button just need that to be pressed. Others require the unplug routine. Unplugging for like 30 second and youre done, ive never seen a panasonic that actualy needed more than that

The reset button is just a stop to the cook program so you don’t have to wait for it to finish. If you unplug the microwave the cook program is stopped so it’s the same thing. People just conflate the two term when they mean reset.
wait so does the reset button clear the clock or no? mine keeps the time after I hit the reset button but loses it when I unplug. Is that the differance you're talking about?
Yeah that’s the difference between the two. The reset button just clears the clock that you programmed into the microwave. The clock live in volatile memory so when you unplug the microwave it loses it. There’s no battery backup on a countertop micro.
The inverter models aren’t any fancier. The inverter is the power supply to the magnetron. The logic board is the same as the others.
had a NN-SN966 that needed to be unplugged for 5 minutes to fix the F61 error. Worked after 5 minutes. Still running after 2 year.
why does waiting actualy matter though? like is there a capacitor that needs to be drained to do a proper reset?
