Depending on how much you use it, a treadmill’s belt will have different shelf life. Some expect the belt to last five years, while others think it is all about their maintenance schedule.

How long a belt will last depends on how much it gets used (hours of use), how often it’s lubed and how much the person weigh. If you’re a light user, expect the belt to last as many as eight years while a heavier user or someone that doesn’t lube might find themselves replacing it in two years. It all comes down to maintenance.
 
It is a little deceptive to see demonstrations of effortless ramp adjustment because that's how it starts, not how it will perform over time. The actuator might start stuttering at grade 6 around month 18, then you find out what's really reliable about the device.

The first time you try out a treadmill it all works great. That isn't a good indicator of how well the treadmill will work as months and years go by.
 
The demo video is not a practical tutorial but a form of marketing material. It seems that saying T7.0 console is complicated is a way to get views. There really aren’t any controls except for start, incline modification, and speed adjustment.

The Wi-Fi problems sound legitimate, as brushed DC motors create lots of electrical interference. You could work around that by plugging the treadmill into a different circuit from your router. A cheap fix would be to add a ferrite choke to your treadmill's power cord.

However, some skeptics question whether ferrite chokes actually work, comparing them to useless devices like magnet fuel savers. It is understandable why people have this misconception until they learn what they do in reality.
