This section explains what is included and what is not. It's about more than just specs, it shows the actual startup process. As you can see from the video below, setup is explained so that novices, anyone who doesn't want to sit through long manuals, understand how to get started. From testing out incline functions to adjusting speed controls, video also includes tips on getting on the belt. Much of the video are dedicated to safety, especially since many people havent used motorized treadmills before. It shows how to set up the emergency stop and ensures you are standing in the right spot. While this video won't walk you through troubleshooting error codes or fix mechanical issue, it will show you the user interface as it plays out during an exercise session. Seeing another person use console should ease some of that fear around operating the system. You'll note the video looks pretty seamless as they adjust their inclines. Many have questioned whether pre-loaded programs matter or if people prefer to manualy change speed and grade.

People typically find T series presets to be useless. One reviewer of a T6.5 had given up on them by his 1st week. Most users prefers music and manual mode.

And I don’t know if the T7.0 has auto-incline that reacts to your iFit subscription, though it may only work on more premium plans. That’s something I see people confuse a lot between the specs for the 7.5 and 7.0 versions.

Wearing the emergency stop clip on your clothing is best way to keep a deck safe. The other safety items do little to add security compared to this simple step.

But to most previous owners, the console was simple and not daunting at all. It's like 4 buttons and a start key. If you're someone who needs video tutorials on how to use something, maybe try operating some conventional machinery instead.

We bought a T7.0 (in 2021) which had some belt slippage about the eighth month, where we needed to tighten it by hand. Belt is loose from factory setting. So you have to watch your belt tension. For light jogging and walking it works fine. At high inclines with serious runners, there may be too much deck flex. Preset programming are simple interval templates. Once you know how you want an interval session structured you can do it manually.
