Saw this tip floating around about Kohler basins that wont drain proper and wanted to see if anyone here can confirm it works prior to having to tear into teh trap.
Basically the idea is to simply pull and press the control located at the back of the basin/faucet a few times to clear whatever is stuck in the drain mechanism. It makes sense as the majority of Kohler basins has a lift rod mechanism that controls the pop-up stopper and hence if that linkage is stuck then the stopper will not properly drain the sink.
How often does this work though? How many times have you had to do this prior to finding that it was just hair on the stopper?
