Wachu guys think about fractal wood burning? From what I saw, it looks really cool! But its contradicting based on what I read.

I’m just thinking bout it lately and how dangerous it is, is it a bad idea? Are there other ways to do it? Like, safety alternatives? I need some advice bout this, esp from those who works with electricity daily. Thanks!

Terrible idea, dude! Not just dangerous, its really lethal and could end a life easily! No cap! I’ve seen videos and clips of people who died trying this, its not worth it! Lives over aesthetic all day every day!

I agree it is pretty dope, but the danger isn’t worth the try. DIYers mostly do this with microwave transformers or car batts, which don’t play around if you got it wrong. If you don’t want to get toasted, then stay out of it brah!

Don’t do it, man! There’s no safe alternative to do fractal wood burning, even those who are the most careful and professional persons made mistakes, and cost their lives trying this.

I’m with you, dude! Those tutorial vids online don’t show how dangerously risky it is. I would never recommend this thing to anyone I know, even for people in the internet. It’s too risky.

My profession is an electrician, I’ve been dealing with electricity since forever, and still, I would not recommend or mess with fractal wood burning – too risky, dangerous, not worth the reward. I wouldn’t to it even for a good price.

Had a close call with this, glad I survived to tell the tale, I won’t do it again even if it’s for a million dollars!

As I experienced, the wood can be an unpredictable conductor for electricity, especially those wood that wasn’t dried completely. Often poor quality, not properly insulated, janky, and extremely dangerous. One mistake and you’re gone for good, no kidding!

To all people who consider DIYing this fractal wood burning, please don’t do it, consider the ones you love before attempting doing this threatening task. For me, consider other cool effects such as, CNC carving, laser etching, or even Pyrography. Just stay out of fractal wood burning ffs!

Wow, thank you! I can’t thank you enough for your insights, especially the one with the unpredictable wood conductor. Tbh, I didn’t think of that. The risk outweighs the reward.

If you badly need that effect, contact professionals, they have better experience and proper gears when handling this kind of jobs.

The most disturbing part is that someone from YouTube is doing it and people might think that it is that easy to do. Remember guys, it is not! Don’t be an irresponsible vlogger or influencer

Yep, watched those DIY transformer setup vids on YouTube, and it scares the hell out of me. So wild man, doing that, knowing the dangers. It’s crazy!

Use paint, resin, or wood burning tools. Never use electricity, especially high-voltage ones. This is the safest alternative you could ever try!
