Frothing milk on the De'Longhi Magnifica, wand position question

does anyone know if the magnifica evo uses the same panarello as the older S models? i broke mine and trying to figure out if i can just order any replacement

the evo wand is different actually, its the new latteCrema style on some models. Check your exact model number before ordering

hot take, just use a $30 bellman steamer on the stove and stop fighting the magnifica. You get better foam in less time and the machine lasts longer because youre not abusing the boiler

the ready light thing is definately true, ive timed it so steam pressure is only usable for around 25 seconds after the ready light comes on. Before that its basically just hot water. Also doing back to back drinks the second cup tends to be much better because the boiler is already saturated and doesnt have to heat up for the second drink.

this is the kind of detail i was looking for. 25 seconds past ready light. Does the same apply if you've just pulled a shot or is the boiler in a different state then?
