only rollback to the 26.1016.8120 package helps. fix isnt shipped yet
 
OpenAI closed the GitHub issue as completed. One person on desktop 26.1023.6621.0 says the SYSTEMROOT error stopped showing up, but that's a single report so far, not a release note.
