every new worktree chat in codex = Cannot serialize value (couldn't stringify value)

worktree chats in the codex desktop app are just dead after the latest update

Error starting chat
Cannot serialize value: (couldn't stringify value)

flipping the new chat to Local works. kind of defeats the point of worktree mode but ok

reinstalling doesnt fix it btw
