when red shows up, release the button.
still wondering about the travel mug 2...
same procedure for travel mug 2. Red light only. Different placement of the LED but same colors.
you're overthinking it. Hold the button down. See red. Let go. Its a one step process, hold it down again if its not working.
its interesting to see what each color means when the mug is on your table though.
agreed. Did it indoors. Outside on the patio its hard to differentiate yellow from white. Had to guess at it.
Fwiw I had one of these that would not reset. Eventually found out the button itself was faulty. Replaced it through warranty since its under the year mark.

see this is why I don’t play with them. Buttons break. Dies charging. Battery swells. For the price of one ember I got a stainless thermos that has lasted me 6 years and counting.
