bloodborne pc performance patch dies with address outside the eboot

saw bloodborne launcher 0.9.24 with the bbhost fps38 build die mid patch compile when the performance option is toggled on, and the only thing in the session log that actually sticks is this valueerror about the address sitting outside the eboot

ValueError: Performance Patch (perf increase): address 0x0603AD1A is outside the eboot

turning that one patch off and it boots again like nothing happened

0.9.25 just skips the performance patch if that address sits outside the eboot.
game boots again, log says why.
