Was looking into why these little BlendJets crap out so often and figured I'd toss the list here for anyone else struggling with them. From what I can find, there are six common issue with them (from the LED indicators alone) before you even have to crack open the unit:
Flash purple = in lock mode (double press to exit)
Flash red = jar not seated into base correctly
Solid red = blade jammed
Battery not charging
Motor going bad
Power button failure
The button and charging port are the most common failures due to these mentions.
For those who have actualy opened one up to tinker with the battery/motor, have you done so? They are sealed pretty tightly, but you could replace the power button. The charging circuit is the same question, is it the charging port or is it further along the circuit?
