Anyone using the Xebex air rower, worth a look?

it's not a cult it's just that c2 has 30 years of refinement and resale value. Enjoy taking 50% loss when you sell your xebex in 4 years

Resale value is another issue though. C2 stands out for how well they holds their value. 5 year old c2 for sale online could possibly be 80% of the price paid for new machine. Same cant be said for xebex though.

alright im just gonna go test some of these at a store. Internet opinions are useless anyway since half of you are crazy about c2 rowers and half of you wants to stick to budget rowers

smart move honestly. You have to find the one that you like the most out of these rowers since its very personal

interesting, whats the difference in feel between pure air and the hybrid version?

magnetic rowers give you resistance at the catch of the row. When the flywheel isnt up to speed yet, you need that. With pure air rowers, there is no resistance until the fan moves the rower’s machine

you do you man but i bet you end up with a c2 anyway

well the loudness of these rowers depends on a lot of factors. The floor it sits on for example. Rowing on a concrete floor with no mat will make a lot more noise than on a rubber mat on a wooden floor.

had a xebex for 2 years before i sold it. Biggest issue with it was that it doesnt connect to any rowing apps. If you want erg races and data tracking it just wont work. That’s why c2 is the #1 brand out there in the market though. For people who want something simple and basic to get a workout in though it’s fine.

huh ok that makes sense. So the magnetic rowers are essentially trying to mimic the water rower feel?

that app integration is a huge factor that people just sleep on when considering a brand. For those who want basic rowing its fine to have the xebex. For those who want to train years down the road c2 is the best out there
