There's also a built-in demo mode on the Level Up Fitness treadmill that walks you through the fundamentals of using the machine. For those who have had someone use this demo to train them on the treadmill, what was it like? According to description, the demo explains how to navigate console, exercise modes, incline and speed controls, safety functions, and form tips when running or walking. These seem pretty comprehensive for an included tutorial, though I guess we'll see just how in-depth it goes. A lot of budget treadmills does not explain the safety clip/key. They don't spend much time explaining incline settings, which many people don't use. They also don't explain how to avoid misusing the deck itself. The fact that the treadmill demo go into detail regarding the safety clip and the emergency stop button is a good sign. Likewise with knowing the console navigation. Are there easy-to-reach quick-keys for adjusting incline/speed? Or are you digging around in menus to locate your preset workout? The other thing that would be good: did the form guidance help? Was it generic stuff (e.g. Was it just generic advice, like "don't hold onto the hand rails," or was it actualy useful? Often people will bypass this part of the form. But really I think it's the most critical one for day-to-day. Is this really a tutorial demo, or a marketing walkthrough? If you've got someone who has used their hands on it, they can give you some insights there too.
