Does anyone know if the rim jets on these are ceramic or are they using plastic inserts? Plastic can get scale buildup in the rim jets after only 2 years in water as hard as texans.
hard water will eventually destroy anything. Same with toto toilets rim jets will cake up too. Its not the brand its the water you flush with.
i bought one of these knockoff brand toilets on amazon a few years back for 180 bucks shipped. Flushed great for about 14 months then the fill valve started leaking. Replaced it with a fluidmaster 400 and its been fine ever since. Not complaining for the price. If you want one that will last 30 years go for american standard champion 4. If you just want something cheap to use in your rental unit any of the chinese brands will last a while.

champion 4 is solid. The 4 inch flapper on these toilets will move all the water in the bowl. Ive never seen it get clogged.
