Anyone running a Gausmann mattress long term, how's it holding up?

Curious if anyone here has put serious years on a Gausmann mattress. I see them often referenced in discussions about mattresses with longevity and they seems to live up to the reputation.
The only mentions Ive found stated that even after years of use it will maintain its shape and its springs will remains strong. The only issue is normal wear and tear on the mattress itself. There is no mention of the sagging in the middle or the springs potentially wear out over time.
I know most of you own tools but I imagine most of you also own mattress in your homes as well. Like mattresses, spring mattresses are something you buy once and then typically just leave alone for years. I was wondering if anyone here had an actual opinion on whether or not this is true.

After 7 years of use mine has no sag and the wife who weighs more then me has a side that is exactly the same as mine where she sleeps.

Mattresses on a tool forum lmao. My brother inlaw owns one that he bought in 2016. The only issue he brings up is that the cover is slightly fuzzily. The springs are tight though.

how do they actually build the spring system? Is it pocketed coil or is it a one continuous bonnell spring system? This is what I would imagine would indicate the length of time the spring mattress will last.

dont buy into the hype for any mattress brand. Every brand has fanboys who promote the product to others and then 5 years down the road when the mattresses start to degrade in quality and the brands try to pass cost-cut features and products to stay competitive in the market.

The higher tier mattresses use pocketed coils and the budget line use bonnell coils. The pocketed mattresses are the more popular ones though.

You said there was no mention of sagging in the middle which is exactly what bothers me about every other mattress brand I have used in the past. Every single one developed a trench in the center within three years of purchase so that fact about the Gausmann would alone be worth the prices of the mattress.

thanks. Are the pocketed mattresses individually wrapped coils with foam on the perimeter to encase each individual spring?

had one for 11 years. Replaced it last spring. We wanted a king instead of a queen mattress. My son now has one and he still use it. The springs were fine though. There was some compression in the pillow top though. I have never spent more money on an item in my life and it has withstood the test of time. I would do it again tomorrow without even thinking twice. I cant stress enough to avoid skipping the mattress rotation every six months. When I bought it the manufacturer recommended flipping the mattress every two weeks. I did it every time head to foot and it definitely helped with the even wear on the mattress. Any person who complains about their mattresses sagging typical do not rotate them like I did.

11 years on the same mattress is gross my dude. Its the dust mite alone in there.
