doesnt hurt anything. The thermostat just opens or closes a contact which turns on or off the compressor. Worst case the compressor will short cycle once when you adjust the thermostat. Lmao turn whenever you want.

yes but its always a compromise on mini refrigirators with a single zone of cold air. The freezer box is closer to the evaporator so it will be colder than the main fridge compartment. You cant control both temperatures with these mini fridge units.

If you have an older model of the Instant Pot you will be fine with the recipe. However, if you have a newer model you will get a BURN sensor every time you use the recipe.

Does anyone know if the rim jets on these are ceramic or are they using plastic inserts? Plastic can get scale buildup in the rim jets after only 2 years in water as hard as texans.

its a mechanical thermostat with a capillary tube on most of these little midea units, no thermistor. Higher number = colder temp selected by user = compressor will run for longer periods until fridge reaches that selected temperature.

4 is my daily on mine, freezer box keeps ice cubes solid and the back wall doesnt ice up the lettuce. Tried 5 for a week in summer and stuff at the back of the fridge started freezing.
