kia_uvo 3.18.0 is the one that gets Kia and Hyundai EU logging in again (it pulls api 4.35.3). HACS can still show 3.17 so pick the version by hand and restart HA. Genesis is NOT fixed by it.

As for the time mentioned for the reset, I've done this on two different units anywhere from 30 seconds to a few minutes but makes no difference. The power down is almost instantaneous when unplugging. So the recommendation to unplug for a minute is overkill but hey works for people.

It's the same on essentially every Samsung I've worked on in the last decade.

There's no service mode on these. It's just a brushed motor with a lipo battery and all the electronic to power it and an RGB led. When the motor dies its just tossed. When I open them up the Battery Management System is usually the first thing to fail and the led stops doing anything coherent.

This is actually correct and not enough people know it. Charging to 100% every cycle actually does more damage to the battery than partial charges.

It will cut off the indication but the battery cells will see the last few pulses to reach 100%. This is the same for most of these cheap battery designs though.

Overnight charging on a lithium pack is how you kill the cells in 18 months. The Blast has a BMS though so it should cut off at 100% charge.
