What do all the Ember Mug light colors actually mean?

The white vs green thing is rather bad user experience. Any two colors that aren’t pale would have been better than the two that is the same color.

Agreed. Should of been amber for charging instead of green.

There is also a slow red pulsing light that indicates that the product overheated. Did this once when I left the mug on the charging dock with coffee in the sun. Not mentioned in the original post.

Im shocked at how many state there are. For me it’s as simple as looking at the mug. If on, it’s working. If off, charge it.

Wait, does the coaster heat the mug or just charges it? I assumed the former.

Coaster just charges. The heating element is in the mug itself. The overheated red was from the mug getting too hot from the coffee and sun exposure.
