this is the right answer. The bone acts as a heat sink so the breast of the chicken remains juicy.
never used a foodi but i have the tower one and cooking a half chicken in that is a nightmare as it will always touch the element. Is the ninja foodi taller inside the baskets?

yeah the foodi baskets are deeper than most. The tower models are shallow.
200c for 35 minutes to the half chicken and 200c for 25 minutes to the veggies. Cooked them this way for two years and never had a bad result.
