The level markings for Level B on the tanks vary depending on what year the machine was manufactured. Mine (2020 model) has it clearly marked on the tank but my friend’s model from 2022 only has a line but no letter marking; just a tick mark.
I bought it new from an authorized Delonghi dealer last year so it would have come with that marking new out of the box. Maybe it was changed during a running change but it is not worn off the label.
Used descaler from a different brand once when I did the cycle. The La Specialista does not seem to care. Though I would monitor the foaming of the descaler. Some brands will foam more than others.
