its worth it to steam fish. The fish will be flaky not dried out like boiling. Broccoli is fine as well

steam with dumplings straight from frozen. Same with broccoli if its frozen its just 2 minutes extra to steam time
OP you are overthinking the water for the aroma. Fill the pot to the steam line if your aroma has such a line. I have a 6 cup ARC-150 and the steam line indicates how long to steam for cycles 15 minutes or less

does anyone use the steam tray that comes with their aroma or do you buy a bigger one? its really shallow
steam tray that comes with aroma is fine for 2 servings max. I bought a stainless steel insert for my aroma that fits in the inner pot for 4 cup aroma and it doubled my steam capacity. Steam 3 heads of broccoli and carrots and it comes out even. The bigger one allows steam to circulate around the veggies properly. Its an extra piece to wash but its dishwasher safe so whatever
