whatsapp "Update your phone's software to log back in" screen, no skip button??

[Obnoxious Oranguta]

so whatsapp is blocking logins now on phones w old android/ios. this is the screen ppl get:

Update your phone's software to log back in

To receive a code and log back onto WhatsApp, your phone's software needs to be updated.

its server side so updating the wa app itself does nothing, u have to do the OS update in settings then open whatsapp again. only button is learn more, cant skip it. and they havent said which versions get blocked. rip old phones that dont get updates anymore
