I've had the above-mentioned saw since 1990. I now use it maybe once every couple of years.
I got it out to cut a 2X10, and halfway through, it stopped cutting. The motor was still running, but the blade stopped. I took the blade off and put it back on tight, but it didn't help.
There also seems to be a little wobble with the blade.
Is the spindle shot?
