Best way to pull a regular coffee or americano on the Magnifica?

had a magnifica s for about 4 years before the brew unit gave up. Used the long button for first year then switched to americanos for the next two then bought a separate kettle for shot plus kettle water as the wand started to get scaley. I ended up preferring the americano route but got a...

Magnifica dripping really slow, what's usually the culprit?

Hard water is the most common cause imo. Where I live the limescale is ridiculous on the water heaters. Mine started dripping after 8 month of ownership despite having never touched the grind setting. After descaling it was back to normal in a single cycle. So not everything can be attributed to...

Samsung microwave reset, is the unplug method actually a thing?

there's no button combination to do a factory reset on the consumer models of samsung microwaves. The service techs get to use a diagnostic mode on some of the over the range models but only for relays and sensors. The unplug method is the only one available to the end user and it's by design.

Delay brew setup on Hamilton Beach FlexBrew, anyone confirm the steps?

Correct for the two-way model. For the single serve only it’s different; no hold function, just tap the delay button and use the hour and minute buttons separate. Might be useful to note for the others who has this moddern model instead.

Bear cooker won't power on, is it usually just the fuse?

well said above. The thermal fuse on the Bear cookers should be tested separately from the main fuse on the unit. They are located in different spots on the cooker and people tend to miss the thermal fuse altogether when they should be looking for an issue in that location. I know because after...

Panasonic micro timer vs standing time vs delay start, button order question

Its actually clever once you get use to it. Think of Time/Clock as a pause button and the Micro Power button as the start of cooking. Therefore, one will want to press the buttons in an order that allow for the desired cooking and resting period. Its a mnemonic device to remember the correct...

Not the same at all. The Kitchen Mama has a beefy output stage to provide the grip and pull required. Drone gear boxes are for high speeds with very little torque.
