    this. Rinse removes the surface starch so rice need less water if rinsed properly. People use the 1:2 ratio because they skip the rinse step.

    1:2 is too much for basmati imo. I do 1:1.5 in my Aroma and it come out way better, individual grains, no mush.

    5 minutes for sure if you want your broccoli to remain crisp tender. I do this twice a week on my ARC-914SBD and 10 minutes will turn your broccoli into baby food unless the florets is gigantic.

    Checked the thier fuse first before we replaced the machine. Its a 50p part and takes 2 minutes to fix. People over think these things.

    wait does the timeout reset every time you press the button though? like if i keep tapping minute does the 5 second window reset or is it 5 seconds total from when i started

    Its the float valve. The silicone cap under the lid slipped off and I spent an hour cursing the lid before finding it. It's easy to miss when people are trying to diagnose the issues with the lid but worth checking before you jump to the ring.

    Glass fuse on the PCB, not the thermal one on the boiler. Two different thing. The thermal one trips on overheat, the PCB fuse blows from electrical fault.

    Did mine about 6 month ago, fuse was indeed blown. Replaced it and it has been fine ever since. Getting to the housing seemed like the most difficult part though. There are clips on the sides that you have to pop to get the panel to pulling up.

    its geared down, not direct. Theres a worm gear in the housing that drives the screw. You can hear it if you put your ear next to it while running incline up, theres that whine that gives it away.

    That’s the main reason I’m with Festool rather than Milwaukee – due to its dust collection system and because I do most of my work indoors. Not only does it win my heart on dust collection, it also better in precision setups.

    Two things: Airflow – check it occasionally, make sure it isn’t block or dirty for it to work well. Thermostat placement – make sure that it is placed well, not is places where there is direct sunlight or any warm spots that can affect its reading.

    Don’t expect too much from them, they’re not there to make your house chillingly cold! They’re there for maintaining the most comfortable temperature for you, especially when it is blazingly hot outside, like 90F above.

    I have also experienced this first hand; I chose repair and it worked for the first few years. Sadly, the roots came back and I was forced to replace my whole sewer. I should have chosen the replace route from the beginning of my problem.

    These suggestions are overwhelming me 😵‍💫 Tekton – I’ll try this one. Harbor Freight – I might try this one if the calibration is cheap. Digital – Fr, I don’t know if I would try torque wrenches with batts.

    Honestly, I didn’t even know about Harbor Freight before you brought it up. If this tool only needs to be calibrated frequently, I might try it. Did you adjust it prior to using it?
