There’s really so much to hate about DeWalt Toughsystem 2.0!

I’m a new user of DeWalt Toughsystem 2.0 since last Friday, I know it isn’t that long enough but this system is really getting me frustrated!
Here’s what happened, I did a small task involving a small impact drill. After finishing the task and cleaning up the boxes, I forgot to bring the drill back inside this shitty system and I had to unpack everything just to get to the bottom box and stow it away.
Who the hell buys this crap! It’s basically just a box on top of another box that has some wheels on them! Also, it wobbles and not stable! I will just return this and get the Klein Tools Modbox with drawers. How bout you? What do you say about portable toolboxes?

Best to have drawer units, doubles for power tools and triple for hand tools. I kept my circular saw and trim router separate because they don’t fit in any of the drawer.

I keep tabs on Klein Modbox too. Ya, I know its pricier, but I think the bottom drawer seems more reasonable. Can anyone give an idea about the switch?

I choose Toughsystem 2.0 over Packout. Unpopular opinion but I think it has better value.

I agree, man! DeWalt’s sliding drawers don’t even have locks, doesn’t offer a bottom box with pull-out drawers. Twas the same reason why I go for Klein Modbox sys, even though its expensive, it has all the things that I needed. Money well spent! 😊

Ordered Monday, got it by Friday and I love the robust feel of it! I manage my tools by keeping the large power tools at the bottom box and ascending by size. Moreover, I will still purchase the 3-drawer box that goes with it for my non-power tools such as hammers, pliers, and screw drivers.

As an owner of both of these products, I can say that the 2.0 is winner when it comes to price, and the Packout is winner when it comes to organizing smaller items. They are good in each of their specific tasks, DeWalt 2.0 is good when it comes to weight capacity, while Packout seems to outclass 2.0 when talking about organizing.

All I can say about Packout is their annoying locking system, although it is tight and nice. Its main issue is when you’re actually getting your tools, there are plenty of boxes stacked before getting what you needed.

In terms of quality and durability, Packout seems to have the lowest quality among all of the choices – they can be compared to plastic and fasteners by Husky. Ngl, Rigid and DeWalt Toughsystem 2.0 have the best quality in my own opinion.

I can vouch for Rigid’s nice drawers and high-quality materials and DeWalt has their clicking handles for opening and closing which is very durable looking and high quality. Given the choice, I’ll always go for ToughSystem over Packout. I am very disappointed in Packout for with their hands-on interaction, I was left empty handed. Smh 🤦
