Where to find the model and serial on a Spirit Fitness treadmill?

Quick question for anyone who's spent time around Spirit Fitness treadmills. I've been trying to help someone find the models and serial numbers for one of these treadmills and wanted to know what info is out there about where to find these on the treadmills.
The model is usually printed on the treadmill itself, while the sticker on the front of the unit has the serial.
I'm not sure where on the treadmill the serial is printed though; I know some brands has it on the side, but Spirit might be different. Furthermore, I know Spirit treadmills is made in either China or Taiwan, so I wonder if the country of manufacture is on the treadmill, perhaps on a sticker alongside the serial number.
The model number should be the same as the one listed in the parts manuals, right? Would the serial contain some digit that would identify the model in addition to the serial number?
This is the part that usually trips people up, when they call parts support with just the model number from the treadmill, they ask for some extra digits from the serial number that nobody told them about when buying the treadmill.
Anyone here know for sure what should be on the treadmills front sticker with the serial number?

on most of the spirit units ive worked on the serial sticker is on the front lower shroud, like on the motor cover next to the deck. The country of origin is on the same sticker

i opened a ticket with spirit once and they asked for the full serial and a picture of the sticker because the parts number for the treadmill was not obvious from the serial

the part that trips people up imo, you call in with the model off the sticker and they ask for some extra digits
whichever appliance brand you own and support is the same with every other brand too lol. Whirlpool does it, lg does it, doesnt matter

yes, the first few digits are usually the year and month of manufacture. Ive seen it on the XT185s and the CT800s

if the first few digits are the year and month of manufacture what about the rest of the serial number? is that a sequential number for each treadmill manufacture or does it indicate something else?

Spirit is decent stuff for the price. Much better build quality than the NordicTrack treadmills that sells for the same price point or closer.

Country of origin is on the same sticker yes, located in the bottom right corner which usually reads Made in China or Made in Taiwan in very small print. The Taiwan units are the higher end commercial models.

Honestly not a clue. Ive never had to decode the model number past the date portion. I would assume it is sequential though as there are no other indicators in the model number.

Had a customer bring me a Spirit XT285 last year where the front sticker was completely peeled off because of the way the customer’s feet would kick it on the treadmill while getting on and off the exercise deck. Took me a while to figure out the model number because the motor controller had a different sticker on the unit. Lesson learned: take a photo of the model sticker prior to purchasing the product as Spirit places stickers in particularly dumb locations on some of their exercise equipment. The model on the exercise frame matched the one listed on the parts manual though. No revision codes exist though I know that newer models to Spirit treadmills may have a dash suffix to the model number.

The tip about taking a photo of the front cowl sticker when purchasing a treadmill from spirit is solid. I tell all of my customers to take a photograph of the data plate on their treadmills when they purchase any from spirit.

The dash suffix exists on some models. I once had an XT685 model treadmill where the parts catalog listed XT685 however, spirit support software listed XT685-02 for the deck belt as there was a change to the model during its manufacturing run.

Why does the country of manufacture matter for the parts that are order for the treadmill?

It does at times. Spirit purchases some of the components for their treadmills from different vendors depending on the model. Its not a significant cost to spirit yet it does matter for the sizing of some of the exercise machine parts.

If I purchase a deck belt without the -02 would it not physically fit to the treadmill deck?
